I feel it is really important to have the right support if you are suffering from any form of wellbeing related illness. The most common is mental health, we often overlook this when things get busy and your day-to-day activities take over. However, the latest statistics show how mental health has changed in adults. We can establish the following from these statistics:
Over 1 in 7 (15.5%) say their mental health is currently either bad, or the worst it’s ever been.
23% describe their mental health as average, whilst 28% say theirs is currently good.
20% say their mental health is great. While another 10% say theirs is excellent, and the best it’s ever been.

Therefore, here at Kinder Voyage, we believe three aspects that can support healthy wellbeing are mind, body and spirit. Mental health falls into mind and we feel it is crucial for our readers to know where they can get support, if they or any family members need it. Having said that, we have created this handy guide on where you can seek free support and advice:
The Samaritans provide a vast range of support for anyone who suffers from mental health problems, and it's a good way to pick up the phone and speak to someone. Sometimes, speaking is a good way to relieve stress, anxiety and to express yourself. You can contact Samaritans by telephone or email: Call 116 123 - it's FREE - or email jo@samaritans.org.uk.
For free, confidential support, 24/7, text SHOUT to 85258.

Your wellbeing is one of the most important aspects of life and to ensure you have success in any element of your family life, it starts from within. You must look after yourself and be open to ask for help, when you feel mental health is impacting your personal wellbeing. Please contact your GP if you are suffering from any form of mental health issues, and you can also contact 111, and they can refer you to a mental health professional.
